I Just Talked To Wil Wheaton!

.......Well, not really.

I recently learned how to play Texas Hold 'Em, and have been playing a bit online, just "play money", no need for a twelve step program or anything. Anyway, I play at http://www.pokerstars.com , which coincidently is where Wil plays. Tonight the idea popped in my head,(oddly for the first time) that I could search for him. So I did. And to my excitement.........there he was! He was in the middle of a tournament. I know what you're thinking.....was it the real Wil? But it really was. I had remembered his handle from his blog and there was his cute little pic beside his name. I started to freak out. If you go in and observe the game and not play, you can still participate in the chat. So there I sat "listening" to Wil talk to his fellow competitors. There were other observers, talking to him, and with each other, about his dogs, etc. I would have loved to say so much to him......this rare chance of actually communicating with him. But everything I thought to say sounded so corny or stalker-like. But finally, after calming myself down and reminding myself that Wil Wheaton doesn't know who the hell you are.................

It's crazy I know, but that little word makes me so happy!! And you know I'm so doing it again.


Oh, and did I mention that we went to the bank today and got approved for a mortgage? And are meeting with a contractor next week? And that we are really building a house this spring?
